Shawna Dolinka
Shawna Dolinka is deeply passionate about creating transformative Jewish experiences that leave a lasting impact long after participants complete the program.
Before joining Tivnu, Shawna spent eight years at JDC Entwine, where she designed and implemented immersive programs that inspired the next generation of Jewish leaders to embrace global Jewish responsibility as a core part of their identity. During her tenure, she managed and developed a wide range of global initiatives including local and virtual events, weeklong immersive travel programs, and JDC Entwine’s yearlong Jewish Service Corps Fellowship. Her work took her to Jewish communities around the world, including Azerbaijan, Morocco, Cuba, India, and beyond, where she saw firsthand the power of immersive experiences framed through a Jewish lens.
Shawna holds a B.A. in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.A. in International Community Development from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her commitment to community development was strengthened through volunteer work with Israeli nonprofits in Nepal and Ethiopia, where she learned the value of holistic, community-based approaches to creating sustainable, long-lasting impact.
