Hallie Shapiro Devir
Hallie Shapiro Devir is Chief of Staff, Helen Diller Family Foundation Programs. In this role, Hallie works closely with the Diller Teen Fellows and Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards teams to help drive the continued growth of the Foundation programs and to support culture and impact.
Previously, Hallie spent more than 22 years at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago (JUF), working to engage community members in meaningful Jewish experiences while strengthening the institutions that provide those opportunities. As VP of Community Outreach and Engagement at JUF, she oversaw programs serving expectant parents through high school graduation and beyond. Hallie was the Diller Supervisor for the first ten years of Chicago’s cohort and is the parent of two DTF alumni.
Hallie is a graduate of Brandeis University and was a member of the first M2 Senior Educators Cohort. She is on the board of M2: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education, and on the advisory board of Honeycomb: Jewish Youth Philanthropy Reimagined.
