Adinah Miller
Adinah Miller has been Tivnu’s Program Director since 2015. Adinah has been professionally and personally engaged in creating diverse and vibrant Jewish communities for many years. Before Tivnu, she spent six years as Dean of Jewish Life, Jewish Studies teacher, and house parent at the American Hebrew Academy, the pluralistic Jewish boarding school in Greensboro, North Carolina. At AHA, Adinah helped high school students lay strong foundations in Jewish thought, practice, and history on which to build Jewish identities, lives, and futures. Before moving to Greensboro, Adinah was an award-wining graduate student and teaching assistant at Yale University, specializing in Italian Jewish history. She co-founded GradJew@Yale, a community of Jewish grad and professional students.
Adinah is excited to bring her experience in formal and informal Jewish education, as well as her passions for social justice, Jewish exploration, and many colors of sticky notes, to Tivnu. She, her husband David, and their son are excited to have made Portland their home.
