Hosting Your Group: Adults
A great trip to Portland, doing real good for the world
There is no better way to turn life-long values into action than a few days in Portland with Tivnu: Building Justice. Our skilled coaches will help participants of any age and experience level roll up their sleeves for work that is as gratifying as it is enlightening. You’ll get the chance to work alongside some local heroes at a tiny house village or regenerative farm, and break bread in the evening with experts and activists who can offer insight and context for our questions of justice in our country and in the Jewish tradition. This is team building, community bonding, and leadership development your synagogue affinity group, Federation committee, or just bunch of friends isn’t likely to find anywhere else.
Fulfilling? Yes. Fascinating? Yes. Fun? Ohhhh yes! Because some of those great conversations will happen as we hike to our favorite waterfall, some will happen as we sample local Pinot Noirs, some will happen as we decide on boutique ice cream flavors. (Hint: the candied pear and bleu cheese is a sleeper hit.)
If you’ve been intrigued by the transformative programming we do with our gap year program, contact us to sketch out a customized program for your group of adults. You’ll be surprised at what we can do in three to seven days. Even better, you’ll be amazed at what you and your group can do.
We are now developing Tivnu programming in Philadelphia. If you’d like to bring your group to our democracy lab in this fantastic city, or to our Portland program, please connect with Steve@Tivnu.org today.
