Miriam Grossman
Rabbi Miriam Grossman is a Jewish educator, ritual leader and writer. Her work sits at the intersection of Jewish spirituality, creative practice, and social justice. From 2019- 2023 Rabbi Miriam was the Rabbi of Congregation Kolot Chayeinu, a progressive multi-generational congregation in Brooklyn NY; she also worked as Kolot’s Rabbinic Intern from 2016-2019. Before being ordained at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Miriam led innovative Jewish education programs in Chicago at Avodah: the Jewish Service Corps, the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, and the Institute for Jewish Enrichment. She is a former fellow with SVARA: A Traditionally Radical Yeshiva. Miriam is the co-chair of Tirdof: NY Jewish Clergy for Justice, a member-leader with Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, a Wexner Graduate Fellowship alumna, and a recent cohort member of the arts-based Clergy Studio at the Jewish Studio Project.
Miriam lives in Brooklyn with her partner Jeremy and their daughter. She loves that she is now also connected to the beautiful Pacific Northwest! She is thrilled to be part of the Tivnu team and to help connect young people to this incredible program.
