Zoe Schacter-Brodie

When Zoe (she/her) found Tivnu on a youth group trip, she was a high schooler from the Bay Area who swore that she would never take a gap year. Six years later, Zoe is an alumna of not only Whitman College but also Tivnu, where she learned — among other things — the joys of intentional community and Judaism’s inextricable ties to social justice. Fresh off a summer at Jewish sleepaway camp, Zoe is thrilled to build community and learn alongside Tivnu’s tenth cohort! When she’s not working with children and young adults, Zoe can be found writing, acting, and reading, and is particularly interested in the intersection of art and activism.
