Wayne is the Executive Director of the Honeycomb (formerly Jewish Teen Funders Network), having moved to New York to complete an Australia Federal Government Endeavour Executive Fellowship based on research and professional development in youth programming and service delivery. Wayne has significant experience in non-profit management with a global footprint in UK, Australia, USA and Israel. With a background in health and community-led programs, Wayne has a commitment and passion to continue his work with social justice based upon Jewish values. For the past 4 years, Wayne has led organizations across the USA and Israel to explore and implement new youth philanthropy programs which engage youth in understanding core principles of philanthropy and supporting change.
Wayne had the opportunity to participate in a gap year after school, where he spent a year in Israel, London and South Africa and recognizes the incredible impact this year had on his future development and engagement in Jewish life. Wayne is excited to be part of the Tivnu Board as he understands the importance of a gap year, combined with the ability to engage in meaningful and purposeful Jewish learning and action in the world today.
