$3,600 in scholarship money available to NFTY alumni
Tivnu: Building Justice Gap Year Program in Portland, Oregon is seeking adventurous and visionary 17-20-year-olds.
Build a house, work with Habitat for Humanity and explore social justice issues while having fun living with other Jewish young adults in Portland, Oregon.
As we build our new program, it’s especially important to have strong leaders in the first cohort. And it’s for this reason — between the leadership skills and training you’ve gained through your programs, your experience with team-building and group-work, and your interest in social change — that we believe many NFTY alum would be great fits for the pioneering Tivnu Gap Year program.
Tivnu is so eager to have a stellar NFTY alum in our first cohort that we’re setting aside one spot for which we will take a $3,600 discount off of the program fee.
A couple of notes:
- Interested teens will need to apply by April 25th and be selected to receive this award.
- Tivnu will award additional need-based financial aid if warranted.
